Retail Assistant

Location: 100 Lower Paper Mills Rd, Fyansford. (Fyansford Paper Mill)

Position Type: Casual

Hours: 9:45 AM – 3:15 PM, Saturdays

Job Description:

Elizabeth Bell Ceramics is seeking a passionate and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Retail Assistant. As a Retail Assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and assisting with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our ceramics business.

Responsibilities:

– Greet and assist customers in a friendly manner

– Provide product information and answer customer inquiries

– Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system

– Maintain a clean and organised store environment

– Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and organizing merchandise

– Help with packaging and wrapping products for customers

– Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and deliver an exceptional shopping experience

– Contribute to the overall success of the business by actively engaging with customers and offering assistance as needed

Qualifications:

– Previous retail experience preferred

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

– Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

– Passion for ceramics and/or art is a plus
