Gyoza Bowl – For me!

Our Gyoza Bowls are a modern take on the 1960’s classic, the Chip n Dip bowl. Soy sauce/dip in the inner bow, Gyoza/chips in the outer bowl.  They are handmade with the highest level of care and quality. All of the Gyoza Bowls are wheel thrown and finished by hand. We use our recycled house-batch stoneware clay body that gives our bowls an extra speckled texture and buff in colour. They are hand-dipped in glaze and then fired to 1280 degrees, which makes them incredibly durable. Being handmade, each is unique with its own character. The perfect addition for entertaining or tasty meals. While we recommend handwashing as the safest method of cleaning, this piece is dishwasher (and microwave) safe. My makers mark is on the base. The items you see are an example of the product, and possibly not the product you will actually receive. Minor variation in design, shape, size and colour should not be considered as a defect, but as a valuable and important aesthetic characteristic. Precisely because of these differences, you should be able to appreciate and recognize that this is a crafted, handmade creation and not an industrial product.
