Pottery Wheel Tutor Wanted

Join the best pottery team in Geelong!!

Elizabeth Bell Ceramics is growing and we are looking for a Pottery Wheel Tutor to join our warm and creative studio team.

About the role
• Teaching mostly Saturday taster classes
• 9:45am to 3:15pm
• Occasional additional classes available on request & potential for future growth (production and term teaching)
• Supportive and inspiring studio environment in Fyansford / Geelong

About you
• Must have pottery wheel teaching experience
• Ideally a practicing potter or highly skilled hobbyist
• Confident demonstrating wheel throwing and guiding beginners
• Friendly, reliable, welcoming and great with people

Position type
• Employed or contractor position available

• Recycling clay and taming the pugmill
• Unloading kilns like a pro
• Prepping clay and watching the team work their wheel magic

You’ll get hands on experience with a professional and friendly team.

In return, you’ll get open studio time to explore your creative heart out—materials and firing included!
