Description
Get ready to mix, swirl, and build with clay in a whole new way! In this hands-on workshop, we’ll guide you through three exciting ways to introduce colour into your ceramics practice. You’ll learn how to:
-
Throw marbled forms on the wheel using vibrant coloured clays
-
Pour stained casting slip to create beautiful, bold cup forms
-
Handbuild with layered patterns inspired by nerikomi, a traditional Japanese technique
Each day will be a colourful adventure, rotating between the three techniques depending on how the clay is behaving—because sometimes clay has a mind of its own!
Whether you’re brand new to clay or an experienced maker looking to explore colour, this workshop is for you. All levels welcome and encouraged.
