Description
This is the perfect class for students who are interested in learning the wheel in greater depth than a taster class. You might be a complete beginner or have a basic knowledge and are wanting to reconnect with clay. Smaller classes afford you more time so we can work at your own pace or on a specific item you would like to create.
There will be a maximum of 8 in this class with a minimum requirement of 4 persons for the class to go ahead.
You will learn to:
- Prepare the clay
- Make beautiful shapes such as cylinders, bowls and vases.
- Trim the base of your made pots
- Attach handles or make spouts
- Explore decorating such as applying slips, underglazes, texture and carving.
- Glaze application
Venue: Elizabeth Bell Ceramics FYANSFORD – Site 10, 100 Lower Paper Mills Rd, Fyansford (Inside the Fyansford Paper Mills, Between the Door Cafe and the Gallery)
